Your journey to becoming a Trainee Design Engineer over a 3-year period will include the following:

Key responsibilities:

  • Initially working 3 days per week in the manufacturing area learning the production/fabrication processes.
  • Attending College 1 day per week to attain an HNC in engineering.
  • 1 day designing of products using 3D modelling software from initial concept through to detailed design.
  • Gain product knowledge over a wide range of industries by moving between the various design divisions within the company.
  • To learn and follow both quality procedures and design rules for effective product design.
  • Various goals will be set, and your performance monitored during the apprenticeship to ensure that they are achieved.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are key to this role, and you should take personal pride in your work to ensure good results.

    Potential candidates are expected to have the following qualifications

  • Level 3 Engineering qualification OR Relevant industry experience with a Level 3 math’s qualification

    SYSPAL LTD is a market leader in the Innovation, Design and Manufacture of aluminium and stainless-steel equipment for a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceutical, veterinary and medical; both UK and worldwide. We are looking to recruit a Service and Installation Engineer to undertake fitting, installation, repair and service on machinery and equipment i.e. conveyors, lifters, tippers and other capital equipment including Hydro therapy machines both at customer’s sites UK, worldwide, and at company premises in Shropshire.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Site installation
  • Service and repair of machinery and equipment on customer sites
  • Fitting, wiring and assembly of products
  • Fault finding
  • Complete Site Reports using the Red Zebra Software
  • Complete Expenses following the correct procedure in a timely manner
  • Complete Van checks as required
  • Liaising with customers
  • Person Specification:

  • Have a flexible and willing approach to work
  • Good communicator with customers, colleagues, and engineers.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative, to resolve issues and proactively avoid problems
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and a can-do approach that will follow the job through to completion
  • A flexible approach to working hours and able to work overtime and weekends where required
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

    ARE YOU A WELDER AND LOOKING FOR A CHANGE? WE HAVE NEW COMPETITVE RATES OF PAY?

We are currently looking for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience in TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel and aluminium materials.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and welding of bespoke stainless steel and aluminium products using sheet, plate, tube, and machined components (1mm – 30mm)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to determine best fabrication and welding methods
  • Adhere to the companies’ policies and procedures
  • Maintaining the company’s high standard of housekeeping to ensure that the work area is organised, clean and hazard free
  • Involvement in the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes and products
  • Safe operation of lifting equipment
  • Safe operation of machinery, hand tools and power tools
  • Using your own initiative to solve and overcome problems
  • Undertake any other reasonable duty requested from the company
  • A diverse range of products to work with due to our bespoke nature
  • Skills, experience and requirements

  • 2 years TIG welding experience (essential)
  • 2 years fabrication experience (preferred but not essential as training is provided)
  • MIG welding experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work alone or within a team
  • Flexibility of working hours when required
  • High attention to detail and quality conscious
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the quality requirements expected within the food and beverage, pharmaceutical or veterinary industries is desired

We are looking to recruit a highly experienced Warehouse Manager to manage and oversee all aspects of the warehouse and logistics ensuring efficient and timely reciept, storage and distribution of goods. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem solving abilities, and a proven track record working at a senior management level exporting goods

    Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the Warehouse operation
  • Drive and motivate your team forward to progress work through the warehouse as quickly and efficiently as possible whilst meeting the required standards
  • Implement and maintain efficient Warehouse processes and procedures
  • Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers
  • Check and monitor Warehouse activities and assume accountability
  • Monitor team members performance and take appropriate action to ensure that they achieve the required performance standards
  • To liaise with the Production Managers and Production Teams to ensure the smooth running of the logistics department
  • Ensuring that all Health and Safety regulations as well as all standard operating procedures (SOP`s) are being adhered to

  • To ensure that all team members are fully trained to enable them to perform their duties safely, efficiently and to the best of their ability
