ARE YOU A WELDER AND LOOKING FOR A CHANGE? WE HAVE NEW COMPETITVE RATES OF PAY?

SYSPAL LTD is the market leader in the innovation, design and manufacturing of stainless steel and aluminium equipment for hygiene and quality orientated industries. We are currently looking for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience in TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel and aluminium materials.

Key responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and welding of bespoke stainless steel and aluminium products using sheet, plate, tube, and machined components (1mm – 30mm)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to determine best fabrication and welding methods
  • Adhere to the companies’ policies and procedures
  • Maintaining the company’s high standard of housekeeping to ensure that the work area is organised, clean and hazard free
  • Involvement in the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes and products
  • Safe operation of lifting equipment
  • Safe operation of machinery, hand tools and power tools
  • Using your own initiative to solve and overcome problems
  • Undertake any other reasonable duty requested from the company
  • A diverse range of products to work with due to our bespoke nature
  • Skills, experience and requirements

  • 2 years TIG welding experience (essential)
  • 2 years fabrication experience (preferred but not essential as training is provided)
  • MIG welding experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work alone or within a team
  • Flexibility of working hours when required
  • High attention to detail and quality conscious
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the quality requirements expected within the food and beverage, pharmaceutical or veterinary industries is desired

    The Role:

    We are looking for an experienced Field Sales Engineer to drive sales growth, develop client relationships, and provide technical solutions to customers across the food and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, customer-focused professional with a strong technical background in stainless steel processing and handling equipment.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Provide technical sales advice, matching customers’ needs with our standard or bespoke solutions.
  • Conduct site visits, technical assessments, and product demonstrations.
  • Work closely with the design and engineering teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Coordinate compelling proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning and client engagement.
  • Maintaining Customer and Contact database
  • Key Requirements:

  • Proven field sales experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or processing equipment sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of stainless steel handling, hygiene, and processing equipment
  • Ability to understand customer challenges and propose the right solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required
