Single Column Tipper - Drums
SYSPAL single column drum tipper increases productivity, efficiency and saves on labour
- Lifting carriages can be designed for various drum designs, with varying materials, heights or diameters
- The drum lifter significantly reduces the risk of injury and accidents caused through manual handling operations
- Hygienically designed and manufactured in 304 grade stainless steel to IP65 standards specifically for the food & pharmaceutical industry
- Lifter column heights and tipping profiles designed to suit individual drum handling applications up to 350kg SWL
- Safe working load: Up to 350kg
- Tipping angle: 145° max or 55° from horizontal
- Electrical requirements: 400v 3 phase
- Left or right hand lift columns
- Can be designed as a mobile tipper or a bolt down tipper
- Available with various guarding options
- Drums can be loaded via dollies or manually from a pallet
Safety features:
- High & low level lift carriage limit switches
- Lift column chain guard
- Mechanical chain-break safety column – Prevents drum falling in the event of a chain failure
- Pull down retaining mechanism safely secures drum during the cycle. The retaining mechanism can be designed to electronically interlock on request
Tipping mechanism options that can be specified:
Roller tipping - Allows quick drum rotation and an increased tip angle of up to 55°. This assists in transfer of difficult or sticky product. Typical applications would be high viscosity liquids, dough and pastry products or prepared/IQF vegetables. (For use with drums, 200 and 300 litre Eurobins as well as other containers.)
Curve tipping - Allows a more controlled tip function up to a tip angle of up to 40°. Ideal for installations where height restrictions are a limiting factor. Typical applications would be low viscosity liquids, such as stocks, sauces or free flowing grains, powders etc. (For use with drums, 200 and 300 litre Eurobins as well as other containers.)
